On the second Sunday of every September, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church celebrates it's rich history
with a Homecoming service that includes special singing and special preaching in a morning and afternoon
service with a good old fashion southern cooked lunch between the two services. For more information, visit

Camp Meeting

On the last week of May, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church in cooperation with the Unity Free Will Baptist
Church of Galion, and the First Baptist Church of Bucyrus, host an annual five night Camp Meeting. Each

Power In The Blood Weekend

One weekend each summer the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church hosts a Power in the Blood Weekend. The
weekend kicks off by the church hosting a blood drive through the Red Cross in our fellowship Hall. In
August of 2009, we were thankful to produce 27 units of blood which were used to help save up to 81 lives.
We then have special services on Sunday by inviting some of the best preachers in the area to bring
messages about the blood of Jesus Christ. Last year the ministers were Evangelist Jared McKinney from
Waverly, OH and Pastor Roger Keen from Mansfield, OH. You will find those sermons below.

Fall Fellowship

On a Saturday night in October every year, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church meets for a time of food,
fun, and fellowship. This event, known as Fall Fellowship, consists of a nice warm meal, a camp fire, games,
hayride, and lots of fellowship. Places where the event has been held includes Brother Jerry and Sister Patty
Copley's house, Brother Preston and Sister Bernice Walters' house, and Brother Eric and Sister Nancy
Boggs' house. In 2007 the church decided to add a short outdoor service to the event. Pastor Paul Staton,
Pastor Aaron Boggs, and Evangelist Tom Martin have been the ministers invited to preach at the Fall
Fellowship.

Friends and Family Day

In the month of November each year, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church celebrates family and friends as
we welcome in as many as we can for a day of service and fellowship. A special singing group is invited to
minister in song and a couple visiting ministers are invited as well. In 2009, we hosted our first Friends and
Family Day in several years and the Church plans on continuing this special service yearly.

Super Sunday School Celebration

In the month of December each year, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church celebrates our Sunday School
ministry by focusing on teaching, and those who make the ministry work. It is also our last big push each
year to break our attendance record for that year. The focus for the service however is on the guest Sunday
School teacher who brings a special lesson to the church about Sunday School and the ministry of teaching.
