YOTR & Pastor Boggs participate in Bucyrus' Good Friday Service
Every year on Good Friday, the Bucyrus Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) sponsors the Good Friday Community Service. This
year the service was held at the beautiful First United Methodist Church in downtown Bucyrus. It was also broadcasted live by
WBCO, 1540AM. Like past years, the seven last words of Christ from the Cross was the seven topics that seven area Pastors were
asked to preach. This years ministers included Pastor Don Kraps from the Epworth United Methodist Church, Pastor David Bliss
from Good Hope Lutheran Church, Pastor Wilmer Hallman from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Major Timothy Higgins from the
Salvation Army, Pastor Steve Voelker from St. John's United Church of Christ, Pastor Ken Kinner from the 1st Baptist Church, and
for the first time, Pastor Eric Boggs from the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church. In closing of the service, the reproaches were read
by host Pastor Dr. French Ball from the 1st United Methodist Church. Each Pastor was asked to provide special singing for
preaching a short sermon about one of the words from the cross. The Youth On The Rock, pictured to the left, ministered to the
community in song before Pastor Boggs preached on the sixth word from the Cross, "It is finished" which is found in John 19:30.
The other words from the cross that Christ spoke include; "Father forgive them...", "To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."
"Behold your mother...",  "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" "I thirst...", and "Father, into thy hands I commend my
spirit:" The Bucyrus Telegraph Forum, the local newspaper, covered the service and interviewed Pastor Boggs along with several
of the other participating Pastors. A link for the article is provided here:

Bucyrus hosts mission trip reunion service
On Saturday, April 17th, and Sunday, the 18th, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church hosted the first ever
Berea Missions Trip Reunion Service. Eleven individuals who went on the mission’s trip to Felipe Carrillo
Puerto, Mexico, and their families, from Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio joined the church for a special
weekend of worship (pictured to the right with Pastor Eric Boggs). Other individuals who were interested
in learning about missions and what Berea Missions can offer them as far as future trips were also in
attendance. The Saturday night service consisted of testimonies, songs, and videos about the trip before
Mexican Field Director, Rev. Luis Tijerina, spoke on God’s Great Invitation. A meal was provided in the
Fellowship Hall following the Saturday night service. Sunday morning brought more of the same. Bucyrus
member, Sister Karen Walters, shared a power presentation about the trip, which was her first, before the
little children of the church sang Jesus Loves Me in Spanish. Brother Tijerina again brought the message.
These sermons are available to the right, under the photo. There have already been plans made for next year’
s mission trip, which will be either at the end of January or the beginning of February in 2011. If you are
interested in more information, please contact Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Mission’s Director, Brother Tony

The Putnam Family comes back to Bucyrus
The Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church was blessed to host the Putnam Family, from Looneyville, WV on Sunday,
April 25th. This was the second time the Putnam Family has been at the church to minister in song and have
become one of the favorite groups at the Church because of their humble and meek spirit, which is refreshing in
today's me first society. Following their singing, Brother John Putnam, who is also Pastor of the Hays Fork
Community Church, brought the morning message. This special family has been using their instrumental and singing
talent for the Lord since late 2008. John and Andrea have three children; Caroline (11), Isaac (9), and Andrew (6).
For more information, please visit their web site at:
www.putnamfamily.com. Also, please make sure to visit back
soon and listen to Brother Putnam’s sermon, which will be available shortly.

Mothers Day Breakfast and celebration
On Sunday, May 9th the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church celebrated mothers day with their annual Mother’s Breakfast. Several brothers from the
church woke up early to bake, mix, flip, and cook their way into the hearts of the mothers of the church with an old fashion all you can eat breakfast
that would make any mother proud. Gravy, biscuits, eggs, toast, pancakes, bacon, and sausage were the main course. A crowed of over 60 turned
out for the food and fellowship. Following the service, the oldest mother in the congregation was honored. Sister Sue Stewart, 80, was given a
bouquet of flowers from Deacon Brother Larry Parsons (pictured left).

Bucyrus hosts 3rd annual Crawford County Camp Meeting
The Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church hosted the third annual Crawford County Camp Meeting on Tuesday, May 25th through Saturday, May
29th. This year’s camp meeting got off to a bang with Evangelist Brian Baer from Evangelist Outreach Ministries opening the camp meeting
with singing and then preaching. Wednesday night was more of the same when Evangelist Jared McKinney preached after the Lore Family

Religious/Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Studies at the Ohio Christian University,
Circleville OH and serves on the advisory board of the Southwest Indian Missionary Association in Phoenix, Arizona. You can visit his web site by
